Cuba

In a 19 year period, there was a migration loss in Cuba of about 583,000 people. During that time an estimated 669,000 Cuban immigrants had arrived in the United States. By the year 2000 Cuba suffered a migration loss of -1.8 per 1000 people. They suffered a loss of 20,000 people and the population was recorded at 82,000 migrants in Cuba alone. The government of Cuba since 1979 allowed education to students of other countries under development. About 33,000 Cubans migrated to the US during the start of Fidel Castro's reign. Cuban immigrantsleft due to trading issues between the Soviet Union.

Venezuela

Between 1948 and 1961, there were some 800,000 immigrants that had gone to Venezuela. Between 1995 and 1996 there were several reports of thousands of Columbians being deported out of the country. Those attacks caused Venezuelan soldiers to be killed during the violence and it created tensions between the tow countries. The gov't asked the EU to help aid several thousand immigrants of European countries to come to Venezuela since they are favored more than the Columbians. Since many immigrants are being deported there isn't an official count of how many are coming into and out of the country. It makes it harder for health advisors to keep track and control disease.
